Canon EOS 5D Mark II

The Canon EOS 5D Mark II is a huge improvement from the original 5D model. The original 5D was made several years ago and with all the changes in photography forced the 5D Mark II too be better. The Mark II features 21 megapixels from itsCMOS image sensor. The new 5D also has a HD movie mode which shoots 1080p full HD movies at 30fps.

The ISO range on this camera has managed too beat even the 1DS Mark III, the ISO on this camera goes from 50-25600. The auto ISO on this camera shoots at 100-3200 in all the modes except manual. All around the image processing on this camera is great, the camera features highlight tone priority, auto lighting optimizer, high ISO noise reduction and lens peripheral illumination correction.

There are a number of things on this camera that make it great. But there are also some things that make it not that great. Like the fact that it can only shoot at 3.9 frames per second continuous shooting. The slower shooting doesn't help its cause for being a professional digital SLR because the competition can do double that or more. The camera also is lacking 100% viewfinder coverage or 9 points of focus like other cameras like the1DS Mark III.

The Canon EOS 5D Mark II is a good digital SLR that has a reasonable price of $2699. The camera might not have all of the things the competition has but this is still a very good camera that has nice features.
